Our mission and primary goal is to design the home of our client’s dreams, not one for our portfolio or display. This requires intensive listening skills and an in-depth questioning process. EDUCATION
The principle designer of Archetype Designs, Mickey Thompson, studied architecture at Texas A&M and Texas Tech Universities and acquired refining artistic skills at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts.

EXPERIENCE
Mr. Thompson has over 20 years of experience in Custom Home Design and Construction. Archetype Designs was formally established in 1992. Prior to that, Mr. Thompson was Architecture Coordinator for a national restaurant chain for two years and a Contractor and Construction Administrator for 8 years.

Our Contracting and Construction Administration experience has provided us with an in-depth understanding of the technical aspects of home construction.
